1. Data We Collect

When you use LinkedLoop, we collect: your LinkedIn profile information (name, email, profile picture) provided through OAuth sign-in; content you submit for analysis or generation; usage data such as feature interactions and timestamps; and technical data including browser type and IP address.

If you connect your Google Calendar, we collect calendar event data including event titles, dates, times, and descriptions solely to provide scheduling and content-planning features within LinkedLoop.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to provide and improve our services, generate AI-powered content suggestions, track your posting streaks and history, and communicate service updates. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Google Calendar data is used exclusively to display your schedule within LinkedLoop, suggest optimal posting times, and help you plan content around your calendar. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, market research, or any purpose unrelated to the core functionality you requested.

3. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure of Google User Data

LinkedLoop does not share, transfer, sell, rent, or disclose your Google user data to any third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers:We use Anthropic's Claude API to power AI content features. If you explicitly choose to generate content suggestions based on your calendar, relevant calendar context (such as event titles and timing) may be sent to Anthropic for processing. No other Google user data is shared with Anthropic or any other AI provider.
  • Legal obligations: We may disclose Google user data if required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
  • With your consent: We will only share your Google user data with additional third parties if you provide explicit, informed consent.

We do not allow any third-party entity to use your Google user data for purposes unrelated to providing or improving LinkedLoop's features. We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements. We do not transfer or sell Google user data to data brokers or any information resellers.

4. Data Protection and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including Google user data and other sensitive information:

  • Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers, and between our servers and third-party APIs (including Google), is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher.
  • Encryption at rest: Sensitive data stored in our databases, including OAuth tokens and calendar data, is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.
  • Access controls: Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis. We enforce multi-factor authentication and role-based access controls for all internal systems.
  • Token security: Google OAuth refresh tokens and access tokens are stored securely and are never exposed in client-side code, logs, or URLs.
  • Data minimization: We only request the minimum Google API scopes necessary to provide the features you use, and we do not retain Google user data longer than necessary to fulfill the stated purpose.
  • Regular security reviews: We conduct periodic security assessments of our infrastructure and application code to identify and address vulnerabilities.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Google Calendar data is retained only while your Google account is connected to LinkedLoop. If you disconnect your Google account or delete your LinkedLoop account, all associated Google user data is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days. You can revoke LinkedLoop's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions settings.

6. Cookies

LinkedLoop uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

7. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third-party services:

  • Google Calendar API: To provide scheduling and content-planning features. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Anthropic Claude API: To power AI content generation features. Content you submit for analysis is processed by Anthropic.
  • LinkedIn OAuth: For user authentication.

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, including any Google user data we hold. You can export your data or request account deletion at any time by contacting our support team. We will respond to requests within 30 days.

You can also revoke LinkedLoop's access to your Google data at any time by visiting Google Account Permissions.

9. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

LinkedLoop's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
